Notice of Appointment of Kyoto Seika University 's new President and Vice-President.
After having served for four years, our former President, Dr. Kan Shimamoto, stepped down on May 24, 2010. Former Vice-President Prof. Shigeaki Tsubouchi, of the Faculty of Design, has been elected to fill Dr. Shimamoto's position as our new President.
A new Vice-President, Prof. Atsuhiko Musashi, of the Faculty of Art, has also been elected. Prof. Tsutomu Hayama, of Architecture, remains in his current position of joint Vice-President.
Under this renewed leadership, KSU will continue its efforts to contribute to society by providing distinctive and forward-looking educational opportunities.
