It's time to prepare your winter study trip for students and teachers .

Go off the beaten path and come to the 7^th Saint-Etienne International Design Biennial, from 20^th November to 5^th December 2010 !

More than 12000 m² exhibition on the industrial area of the former arms manufactory and in the platine of the Cité du design.

The therre major museums will participate in the Biennial :

-           The Museum of modern art of Saint-Etienne Métropole: 2^nd collection of modern and contemporary art in France after the Georges Pompidou Centre ( www.mam-st-etienne.fr)

-           The Museum of art and industry : exceptional collection of textile ribbons, arms and cycle, all incorporating the seeds of design . Biennial exhibition : Maurizio Galante (website)

-           The Mining museum : on the former mining site, a museum demonstrating the sources of the industrial civilization.  Biennial exhibitions : sound design - François Schuiten works - Minimaouse Award projects.  (website)

Saint-Etienne is 15 km from the unique and inestimable collection of Le Corbusier buildings in Firminy and 80 km from Le Corbusier La Tourette convent.
