SUMMARY OF MISSION STATEMENT
The base of the ENAP is the UNAM statement that specifies the three sustantive activities from this university: teaching, researching and cultural diffusion, with the compromise of take its benefits to the society.

The National School od Visual Arts has an academic mission with the objective of educate and prepare professionals in creation and production of individual and collective art in its different knowledge areas; to teach the student in the development, research of artistic projects, to prepare them to think, criticize and teach visual arts, also to coordinate, make curatory and design exhibitions administrating their own plastic work.

In the same idea, the school prepares professionals in graphic design, executive persons that research, think, analize, create, develop and coordinate visual communication projects with mastery in theory, methodology and technic processes and sense of the ethic consequences of each design, being careful with the sintactics, semantics and pragmatics issues of the designed object and capable to explain and teach this knowledge to others. To achieve this educational project, the school community is convinced that we must keep our tradition and artistic heritage and open our mind to learn the new ideas and new technologies and incorporate them to the spectre of the visual arts and graphic design horizons.
INFORMATION ON STUDENT EXCHANGES
SUBJECT AREAS FOR EXCHANGE STUDENTS
All the studies, subject areas, levels and programs are available for exchange students, there are no restrictions about this issue
DEADLINES TO APPLY FOR AN EXCHANGE PERIOD
The first application date is in January and the entering exam applies in February.
The second application date is in June and the second entering exam in May.
TEACHING LANGUAGES
In our school there is a program to teach English, but, our University offers spanish and other languages teaching in the Foreigners Languages School and the Languages Teaching Program from CELE in UNAM with several sites in the city.
BEGINNING AND ENDING DATES OF THE SEMESTER
Study year is fixed in two semesters:
August-December (Fall) and the other one in January-June (Spring)
COSTS PER MONTH (studying and living)
Degree Program: Average costs by SVA student: $ 2,540 EUROS (Cheek corresponding fees for meals, housing and transportation in Master's Degree program)

Master Program: $ 1,200 EUROS during the four years, this includes the payment for registering every semester and the six workshops

Living: Housing: It's possible to find places between 60 and 100 EUROS per month

Meals: It's possible to find healthy food with 8 or 10 EUROS each day

Transportation: it is cheap, the subway ticket 0.25 EURO and the buses or microbuses are the same prize
