mission statement

To develop the autonomy for our students so that they can achieve their full potential and adapt rapidly. Besides we encourage them to fulfill thanks to a national an international experience from 6 months to one year (students\' mobility in institution or internships) After the MA we aim at facilitating our students\' integration into the professional world by participating to different of- walls exhibitions such as the Designers day, 2012 Milano Furniture Fair, VIA, Talente and getting in touch with industrial partners to develop their researches

We organize lots of workshops with foreign partners - Politecnico di Milano, italy - London Metropolitan, UK - Kunsthoskolen, Bergen - Pratt Institute, New York - institute of Suzhou, China - Zokei University, Chine - Kyoto TASK, Japan - Bénin, (Africa)

national role

We emphasize collaborative projects with industrial, cultural, institutional, edicational and associative national partners - Paris Town Hall - UniversityParis III - Hermès - Dassault - Bouygues - École du paysage (Jardins de Chaumont sur Loire) - Arcade association - Fez, Marocco

main focus

As we have lots of BA we are more oriented to develop the MA, and the research in all our units expecially in the craft design workshops

bachelor level programs

BA level : 3 years including one year foundation course Design : - space design - product design - communication design/space & volume - Architectural technology Craft Design : - furniture design and making, chair making, marquetry, sculpture, modern and traditional surface decoration, interior decoration,/modern seat making - Silversmithing (engraving, chasing, embossing)steel engraving, lathe, conceptuel metal assemblage - Fine jewellery (setting, gemmology) A one-post BA year focused on internships

master level programs

MA Level 2 years: - Interior Design - Product design A one post MA year focused on research and industrial partnerships

We'd rather have students coming for the first semester.

teaching languages

French . Some of the tutors can speak English. Most of the students can get by in English but also some in Spanish and German

semester dates

1st Semester : beginnning of September to the end of January

2nd semester : beginning of February to the end of June

cost of living per month (studying and living)

accommodation : around 600/ 700 euros

month travel card : 73 euros

canteen : about 4 euros/meal
