Académie Charpentier Department of Interior Design and Visual Communication

mission statement

Relationship between acquisition of skills, creativity, professional life and current events
In interior design and visual communication, professions are not purely artistic, the designer has to respond to customer orders.
The challenge of these design professions Académie Charpentier trains for, is the ability to respond to socio-economic constraints and ecological issues. Through public or private partnerships, which are part of the study program, students will be able to deal with imposed constraints during their studies. This is one of the fundamental axes chosen by Académie Charpentier and its teaching team.

international role

 National and International Role

ERASMUS Charter 2014-2020

Holder of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2014-2020 issued by the European Commission.

By developing its international dimension, our establishment is driven by a dual ambition: On the one hand allowing students wishing to work internationally to acquire the necessary skills, while on the other hand promoting the discovery of methods, cultures and different perspectives that are likely to enrich their future inter or transcultural professional practice. Over time, we have developed privileged relationships and partnerships with different institutions in and outside Europe, both academically and professionally. To meet the needs of the current job market, we wish to form new multicultural creative people who are aware of the multinational stakes of the professional world of tomorrow whether societal, environmental or other. Study trips abroad are organized every year for our students to keep up with current events. Our partner universities are mainly in Europe and the US. We are always open to new partnerships.
