Mission
Maryland Institute College of Art is an independent professional college of art providing undergraduate, graduate, and non-degree programs in the visual arts. The College provides students from throughout the country and around the world with an integrated education of the highest quality to develop their artistic and intellectual abilities and their professional skills as artists, designers, and educators. The College also provides programs for the broader public, to increase its knowledge of the visual arts and to create an environment that is supportive of the education and development of students and their professions.
