Summary

Mission

With the efforts made by several generations, Tongji's education in design bring in conformity with the Chinese situation and also in close contact with all countries in the world. It has been advancing along its guiding principle of:
1) pluralistic, loose and comfortable academic environment, and absorbing different schools of Design thought.
2) Innovation spirit of pioneering different varieties and maintaining the dynamic reform momentum.
3) World-oriented field of vision to meet the social demand in education.
