We are seeking a future focused, inspirational leader to develop and support our high performing and self-leading teams within the College, and to drive the future strategic development of the programmes we deliver.
You will lead teams in a diverse range of areas, including Art, Design and Architecture, Culinary Arts and Hospitality, and Media and Photography, with around six hundred and fifty enthusiastic learners, to achieve educational excellence in alignment with our educational philosophy and priorities, values and strategic direction. You will also ensure academic design, development and delivery exceeds stakeholder’s expectations, by working with your highly capable staff and industry to achieve success.
You will have experience in a PBL context, demonstrable leadership skills and experience, with a track record of success in delivering vocational education in multiple delivery methods, working alongside industry. You will need to demonstrate a commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and sustainability. You will have significant leadership experience in the tertiary sector, in teaching, research and/or consultancy. Our schools and services work alongside industry in the programmes that we deliver, and we are looking to build further in our connection with Capable NZ. You will hold a relevant post graduate qualification.
