Women’s Rights Are Human Rights: International Posters on Gender-based Inequality, Violence and Discrimination is an exhibition, Organized and curated by Elizabeth Resnick – Professor Emerita, Graphic Design, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, that features posters created by both men and women to celebrate and acknowledge the vital role that all citizens play in protecting and promoting human rights while challenging gender inequality and stereotypes, advancing reproductive and sexual rights, protecting women and girls against brutality, and promoting women’s empowerment, education and participation in society.

The Exhibition is featured by the set of workshop and open symposium on social design, engaged in gender equality issues. During her lecture and workshop Sylvie Page will try to answer the question “How can we improve the women’s right using Humor in our work?” referring to the famous banner calling: I cannot believe we are still protesting! . Janna Beck from Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp will elaborate the question of Selfie and its role in contemporary culture. And Caren Caliskan will invite 80 participants of her classes to the biggest park in Warsaw, in the name of The Woman On The Street performative workshop integrating Typography and Environmental Graphic Design. The 3-day workshop programme will finish by the exhibition of created works and the great symposium Women’s Rights Are Human Rights.
