Aditi Deshpande is a passionate architect and designer, who understands Design is a responsibility, and recognizes and respects the power of design to shape our lives, and who is dedicated to use design skills to be effective in social change. She has worked with prestigious firms like B.K. Joshi Architects, Belgaum and Tomato Architectural Solutions, Pune before she began her independent practice. She has worked on projects with a variety of typologies though her love is residential and interior architecture. She possesses extreme consciousness for environment. She has been a design practitioner for the past 20 years and has a rich experience of over 12 years in teaching architecture and design. She has been involved in teaching, research and leadership roles at several institutions. She has closely collaborated with educators from several international Design Institutions like Art Center-New York, University of Aalborg, Academy of Art and Design, and University of Venice. She is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Design and the In-charge of International cell with Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune, India. She is constantly in pursuit of various aspects of design, not restricting to only architectural design. She has keen interest in product design and graphic design. She has been undertaking publication design projects since 2013 and has prestigious books and journals to her credit. Aditi is associated with NIASA (National Institute for Advanced Studies in Architecture) as a resource person since 2012. She has conducted many Faculty Induction workshops across India and abroad. She has been invited to present her work in prestigious platforms like Pune Design Festival and has been invited as design jury by many schools of architecture. Besides being a designer she is an accomplished Indian classical musician and Bharatnatyam dancer. She has conceived many workshops on the theme of ‘Dance-Space-Design’ and ‘Music-Space-Architecture’. She is an experienced, enthusiastic, and energetic educator who is passionately committed to the success of her students and the profession of design.

Pablo Bercovich is an Argentine specialist in strategic design management for the industry. Designer, Professor and Researcher of the Buenos Aires’ University. General Coordinator of the National Plan of Design of the Ministry of Production of the Argentine Nation. It is dedicated to the planning of public policies of design for development of the national industry, for innovation and productive transformation. He is currently writing his thesis of expertise on the quantitative and qualitative impact of insertion of innovation and design tools in the productive SMEs.

About Cumulus PLUS+
The aim is to create the opportunity for friendship between people and generate partnership and exchange of knowledge between the different institutions. Cumulus mobilizes candidates with a travel grant to come over to the conferences under the Cumulus umbrella. The target group are academics and staff working in colleges and universities in art, design and media in higher education from different parts of the world and countries less familiar to Cumulusians.
