The National College of Art and Design in Dublin is seeking to appoint a permanent, full-time Lecturer in the School of Visual Culture specialising in the history and/or theory of film, moving image and/or digital culture.
As the only Irish university institution specialising in Art and Design, the National College of Art and Design in Dublin occupies a unique position in the country. The post is located in the School of Visual Culture. One of four academic divisions in the College, it specialises in history, criticism and theory and offers a BA programme in the Visual Culture as well as MA/MFAs in Design History and Material Culture, and Art in the Contemporary World.
We are looking to appoint an active researcher and experienced lecturer with expertise in contemporary debates in film and moving image.
€51,670 – €82,217
New Entrant Salary Scale:
€46,503 – €73,995
* Subject to all new entrants to public sector as of 01 January 2011
Appointment will be made on appropriate scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
