We strive to be an educational institution that inspires growth through support and challenges. This is noticeable throughout the course programmes, the teaching staff, the personal coaching that is provided and in the facilities available. We train people to create beautiful concepts, performances and designs which improve the quality of life.
Internationalisation plays a major role at all levels at Fontys. We highly value our close relationships with enterprises, partner universities and professional associations. We define close relationships by exchanging expertise and knowledge in a proactive way (lively student & teacher exchange, strategic collaboration projects, assignments from enterprises implemented in the curriculum, events etc.)
Our academies are meeting places for governemental and Non-Profit organizations, enterprises and professional associations. We bring these parties together in order to make each other stronger by exchanging expertise and knowledge on all levels (student-centered, industry problem-based etc.). Moreover, we organize regional events for citizens where they can attend workshops offered by us and other organizations (example; Festival on Quality of Life organized with the municipality of Tilburg, enterprises and Non-Profit Organizations).
