Northumbria University (Newcastle upon Tyne, UK) has 16 PhD studentships available in design and related areas of human-computer interaction, social computing and psychology. Each studentship includes a full stipend, paid for three years at RCUK rates for 2017/18 (this is yet to be set, in 2016/17 this is £14,296 pa) and fees (Home/EU £4,350 / International £13,000 / International Lab-based £16,000). The deadline for applications is 20th January 2017, with each studentship due to commence in October 2017.

This is the first design course in Italy ever sponsored by European Space Agency. The Postgraduate Programme in Curating at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) is a discursive platform focusing on key areas of contemporary exhibition-making. It has a strong practical orientation.
